Everything is a leap of faith. Even trying to stay put. In this life, there are no guarantees. (Well, other than Lapa staying drunk.) So even apparently "not making a decision" is making a decision with risk. You just don't recognize it at first.
People on average are more risk-averse with making decisions, and they end up living less of their lives. But that's just my lameass opinion.
Some of the best things I ever did was break out of my routine and did something that required that leap of faith.
