Spent my last day here in Turin by visiting the Juve museum which was brilliant brought a bit of a tear to my eyes, then a stadium tour, what a way to round off a hugely successful break away

Slowly starting to plan my minimum one year exclusion from the Denmark and Europe when I finish my master in 2,5 years. Found a shaolin temple where you can enter as a complete stranger to kung fu, live the life of the monks and receive training and tuterage in mandarin. 5 days per week without electricity. Excellent start I'd say

i dont think your personality is suited for the required rigid submission in this kinda thing, but you should travel around 
“If every instinct you have is wrong, then the opposite would have to be right.”i say roam around for a bit and once you find something you dig go for it, not planing things with set expectations is a good start for doing things opposite
Roaming is definitely to be done after this, but I'm really hooked on the idea of trying something like this. The decision to do this didn't just come in a moment, something about that way of life is appealing to me and the more I read into it the better it sounds. It would help me overcome some demons by way of force, too. Examples are smoking, physical condition and the lack of discipline. I perform best under pressure
I'll make sure to roam through the states and Canada, too. My parents gave me a sizable financial contribution due to a recent happening so I should be good to go for atleast a year perhaps even more.
Who knows, perhaps I'll actually find a place that I actually like.

I was 21 once and coincidently had similar thoughts. Lucky for me the Shaolin village mountains are around 140 klmtrs. We were highly impressed with our few visits by the dicipline and the girls and scenery and the struggle and what not. Enrolled for 6 months, lasted 9 days.
You might be mentally and physically stronger than me back then but still its not for us.
If its anything other than the legit shaolin school, go for it.

Out of curiosity, was it mentally or physically overwhelming?
I'm still pretty stubbornly convinced that I want to go through with it
