I love beer. If I feel like a drink I will almost always go for a beer or a glass of red wine, that's mostly because I don't know how to drink spirits. If I have one glass of scotch it never ends there, I end up having 3-4 afternoon drinks when I could've taken care of my craving with a cold Tuborg Classic.

There are similar ideas across Europe. In Scotland I'm sure they use mulled wine in the same way.
