Bandwidth is the only issue I can think of. But I think it'll be fine. Can probably upgrade to 1000Mbit/s if not.

Anyway, not sure how many will use the 720p stream, most might pick a little lower res, otherwise they might as well use the regular sopcast program (unless they stream to ipad for example and still want HD).

I'm using sp-sc-auth to get the sopcast stream and vlc for re-broadcasting. Transcoded to x264 + AAC. Testing a few different settings.

But obviously this won't be open to use for everyone anyway.
The upload is what takes the heat. It would be safe to assume around 2500Kbp/s bitrates for 720p. What would you get for upload if you upgrade to 1000Mbp/s? I thought you would be streaming from TV Sport Xtra :p
I've been thinking about testing a smaller setup. Cheap NAS attached to Raspberry Pi running XBMC to stream to all devices at home.

Really?

I'm at work... can't prepare soup :D
No, apple juice won't do anything for you that water wont.

The first rule to getting healthy quicker is to not be at work though, lie in bed, lots of rest and hydration - that's the most effective way.

My dad is of the conviction that a rather large glass of Rakija will get you better faster, but then again where we're from Rakija is used to cure anything from muscle pain to heartache. :p

I'm kinda with Deneb and Sheik on this one, Ive never liked beer much. Does not mean i dont/wont drink it. Given a choice though i'd always go for the Tequila or the Wisky and that happens most of the times.
Yeah, it's not like I won't drink it ever. It's just very low on my preference. Very low.

if you are at work, apple or other juice can make you feel better at first.

I love beer. If I feel like a drink I will almost always go for a beer or a glass of red wine, that's mostly because I don't know how to drink spirits. If I have one glass of scotch it never ends there, I end up having 3-4 afternoon drinks when I could've taken care of my craving with a cold Tuborg Classic.

It might make you feel better because you like juice, but the best thing to drink when you're sick is just plain tap water.

I know rest is the best, but I hate lying in the bed, besides I have a desk work, so no much effort; only getting a lot of tears in my eyes staring at the PC screen :D

And what's Rakija? I like the sound of it :p

A desk job is definitely better than storage work, but still the bed would be the best. Also I like wrapping myself up in blankets and taking some paracetamols or iboproffen and sweat it out.

Rakija is basically balkan fruit brandy. It's delicious :lick:

I think a redefinition of the word is required. Gay: any man who drinks beer.
Does that mean we women who drink beer aren't automatically lesbians anymore!? :weee:
