Formation of Damnation was like more progressive with more death influences but this is a more classic Testament record with modern production & sound. It's more classic thrash, kind of reminds me of Practice What You Preach out of all their albums. They even have a ballad on there! Some seriously cool songs and the lyrics are better too imo, I always thought some of TFOD lyrics were kind of cheesy/lame.
