Hello, football friends.

It's official. I booked the flights today, I'm going to Egypt in 6 weeks. :D Let's hope they all have a nice cup of tea and calm down before I get there.

We crashed out of the Euros with zero points and we completely embarrassed ourselves in the first two games. People are practically celebrating this. No one seems to care that Irish football is a total mess.
to be honest, i think its bec they knew ever since the draw they had no chance, and did the best they could so they might enjoy the chance that they participated in the end they see it as a chance to have fun regardless of scores. i can understand yr frustration but i see the other side of the story considering they were realistic and had a very low level of expectations.

No one expected us to do well in the tournament, but we are capable of playing much better than we showed in the three games. I think Trap (and his ridiculous salary) and the senior players like Duff, Keane, O'Shea and maybe Given need to be moved out of the way at this stage.

Irish football in general is a shambles, not just the national team. A team pulled out of the league here today in the middle of the season and no one even cares.
