was pretty sure my old man would die yesterday. he usually has high blood pressure, something ala 150/90 with an 80-85 heart rate. after our guests left last night he started losing color, chest pains, dizzyness, shortage of breath - the whole package. He kept squeeling in pain and passing in and out until the ambulance came. When they measured his blood pressure it was 69/40 with a heart rate of 150 (!!!) . he's alright now, but we're still waiting to see what actually happened, i cried my fucking heart out last night. first time i've experienced something like this.

then today someone keyed up our car while we were visiting him at the hospital, i'm fucking grateful i didn't catch whoever did it - would've given me a nice excuse to vent some anger.

That shit is scary, yo! Takes a lot of strength and courage to go through such a situation. Hang in there. It's gonna be alright.

I am so sorry to hear that, honey. I hope he's feeling much better now and they figure it out fast so it doesn't happen again.

thanks dudes and dudettes. tomorrow the tests from the ultrasound, ekg, blood and the rest of the medical stuff they've done are coming in. his dad died from a heart failure, but they've definitely established that he isn't suffering from the same illness. Also they're sure it's not a clog, so that's a bonus.
