I had a friend in college who was pretty intelligent but had decided she would be a housewife. I once told her I thought that would be a waste of her talent and the money she was spending in school. She said that while he understood my point, she was brought up that once a woman was married her place was under her husband. Pretty arcane thinking. I merely replied that I preferred my women on top or in front.
Subtle. :D

fuckkkkkk :sergio: I forgot to do one of the online tests for my accounting subject...oh well it's only 2.5 marks out of 10 for total 4 online tests. Stupid how we're supposed to do these things that count for the final grade that are only open for 3 days.

They have only for common areas in the apartment. They are planning to cover the rest of place in the coming months though, which is a relief. I got a UPS, so I've power supply for the internet for at least two and half hours. Since this place is on the ground floor and is surrounded by buildings, there's little to no air supply. All that is going to pass hopefully. Third floor here I come :touched:
Ah, India. Where a family UPS is like the family fireplace back in the 1800s.

It makes me so sad to see beautiful, intelligent young women spouting out shit like "When I get married, I will be subservient to my husband, the Lord says so".
Somebody has to feed the pigs and chickens you know.

I have that exact suit...I've only worn it like 2-3 times so I have to show it off a bit
Nice.

Though why you gonna buy a Lord of the Rings suit??

I hate Mumbai. Five minutes there and I wanted to get back to Bangalore. I'll take the load shedding, thankyouverymuch!
I can't take both headache and heat together, one is the max I can bear :D

Why would she feel it is what she needs to do it? In any situation, this bothers me. It's about self-respect.
A woman can be a stay at home wife and still have self respect. However I do agree that she is and should not in any way feel the lesser half in the marriage.
Btw, if I could, and I've seriously told this to my wife a few times, I'd be a stay at home husband, if she's willing to earn the money. I've a wife who's as lazy as I am, so she declined. Now society expects that the man provide for his family. Fuckin' society :(

Oh exactly, I would gladly stay at home while he provides, but it's the respect part that matters. It's my boyfriend's goal in life to become a stay at home father :D
