I don;t get why i find it so weird, i've watched gory films for years but they film it differently in breaking bad, cant put my finger on how they do it.

One of the things the show does exceptionally well is lay plot traps for the audience to follow down. Things might seem obvious and the eventual conclusion might seem inevitable, but that's just when the show pulls a hook that comes out of nowhere to keep it genuine.

The challenge with a show like that is to avoid trying to keep topping itself to the point of ridiculousness. Thankfully they haven't jumped that shark yet.
