I never thought of myself as someone who goes all macho about how much spice he can take in his food. But all the Desis have been asking if it's "too hot" for me. I haven't had anything close to that yet.
The cuisine in my hometown is quite different. My wife can't sometimes handle my mom's food :D I love hot food, and it's quite difficult to find places which cater to my taste around here. If you love coastal cuisine, you should visit my hometown and hit the local joints there. There isn't much to see except a few forts and a couple of beaches, so it isn't exactly a tourist's paradise.

Life is much bigger than a number on a piece of paper.

Chin up, bud. Smile Goddamnit!

It aint the end of the world - so many of us have copped this before.
I'm just in a bad place right now. Sorry for lashing out

are you seriously this mad about a 'grade'?
Yes. Considering it was 54 hour exam, and I basically analyzed the entire set of texts with two of my friends. We turned over the same points and the same conclusion, wrapped in a different way of writing. They both got A- and I got (whatever the lowest passing grade is). It doesn't make sense to me, I busted my ass off for 30 hours straight and wrote a damn good paper, only for some cunt to grade it like that. I know when I write something bad and when I write something good, I want to be graded appropriately.

In addition to that a A- is really the lowest grade i can use, if I want to get into Oxford for my masters.
Scheduled a personal talk with the professor.

Can someone explain the rep system - is the ammount of points you give based on your post count, your rep count, time posting on here or something else? I dont get it. ID repped me yesterday for 1 point but he has a load of posts and a high rep count...

Based on time somebody is here. But it depends, post count is taken under consideration too, same as 'status'. Mods/admin count a bit more.

everyone should just eat pasta. pasta is best.
YES

Same goes for lasagne. :inter:
Eat pasta if you want to get fat! That shit is nasty, makes me feel fucking horrible when I eat it :inter:
you guys are crazyyy!!
i have pasta almost everyday, especially when im home

That sucks. I eat a surprising amount of pasta for a skinny person, and it doesn't seem to do much. Potatoes and bread, on the other hand, do damage.
seriously.. though im not skinny, im amazed im not the size of a whale right now
i eat so so much bread and pasta

Oh man, baguettes...I could eat one every day if it didn't make me fat. Potatoes cooked in stock or with fat or cheese is fine, but almost any other form is really bland to me. I don't really like mash, garlic or not, or chips or roast potatoes. I get that feeling you get with the pasta where it just feels like a big starchy carb.
i eat a baguette erryday
its horrible when you live alone... cause even if im not hungry, i want to finish it because the next day it wont be good. :p

You ever been to Italy? Pasta is fucking expensive in italy, Also the efficacy of diets have to tak into consideration a load of cultural and economic factors. People living in the med countries have incredibley different lives to the one i lead and a different climate which has an impact on metabolism. Hotter weather = higher energy consumption.
I don't think pasta is expensive in italy at all
au contraire!

You guys reaize there i wheat pasta right?
yummayyyyy

Carbonara? Looks so good. I eat anything I feel like. Life is too short.
THIS THIS THIS

I drink like 2-3L of water a day usually when I'm at home.
i drink so much water aswell, it makes me feel so good and clean
When i'm home i'm constantly drinking either tea or water
