Dude, it is 10:30pm here and a balmy 75.

Everywhere i have been in Italy (bari, amalfi, salermo, sorento, napoli, monte casino, pompei, roma, milano and torino) pasta has always been the most expensive thing to order.

Not at all in my experience from all my travels to Italy. Pasta, particularly as a primo, tends to be cheaper than almost all secondi.

And if you think that's something, all of those could be beat by the cost of a couple of eggs with some shaved truffle.

It was only last week that I expected to get a 70, and got a 94 instead. I went up to the teacher and told her off so she could give me less marks.

It can be frustrating. These profs have no idea.

Unless you eat sea-food of any sort prepared by my mom, you haven't had the best. You should also be prepared to have smoke coming out of your ears though, I'm not sure how the white man responds to the spices she uses

I never thought of myself as someone who goes all macho about how much spice he can take in his food. But all the Desis have been asking if it's "too hot" for me. I haven't had anything close to that yet.
