I like my water room temperature. Hate Diet Coke.

Meh, those 2L Cokes don't taste the same as the 20 oz. or the cans. The glass bottle ones are the best but they're too small.

Once or 20 times. Eating out in Italy costs a lot but buying pasta doesn't, and many people make their own. The ingredients are cheap. Sure, the cost is rising like everything else, but it's not at the stage where people can't buy pasta, it has to be amongst the cheapest foods to buy or make.

Everywhere i have been in Italy (bari, amalfi, salermo, sorento, napoli, monte casino, pompei, roma, milano and torino) pasta has always been the most expensive thing to order. But you still missed the main point - very hot and very cold environments require higher calorie and higher carb diets because the temperatures force your body to work more. In the UK we have a very balanced climate so its easier to get fat unless you do something to burn the energy.

Snuck on quickly to say HELL YES! to all of the above from room temp water to the small bottle. Well all except for the diet Coke bit because I switched to them when the addiction got out of hand. And I especially agree on the glass bottle being too small.
