You're missing the point. Not me. People have the freedom to be as they will in public. The act of two men kissing in public is no less moral than a man and a woman kissing in public. Depending on self, one or both may be unappealing to you. However, that does not make you a homophobe.
I think to be a homophobe, there is a required hate associated with the concept or some vague belief that the act in itself is immoral.
So ALC may know people that dislike the act of homosexuality, but may not be homophobes. I think saying my friends are homophobes, but they're perfectly good people is catamount to saying my grandfather hates coons, but he's a good guy.
This is just my personal opinion. There really is no right or wrong answer.
