Cool,enjoy it while it lasts man. Just outta curiosity have u considered moving to far east [China,Japan etc] ?

I have found myself to not really like much of Asia enough to live: too hot, too humid, often a xenophobic culture. The stereotype of the megalith Asian city choked in smog. But for some bizarre reason, all that goes away for me when it comes to India. India is probably the only country in Asia I could see myself living -- and it's not because India isn't subject to the same conditions as the rest of Asia.

Something about the diversity of the country and yet some strange sense of an ancient familial belonging there.

True but finiancially speaking i dont think india is a very attractive option. In fact i have no idea what a foreigner in india might earn and do what. I do know this,You get paid twice for doing half the work in china

Maoists are the least of our problems. They are strong in a handfull of areas and dont exist at all in the rest.
Only problem an american would have in india is the chance of getting kidnapped by one of the terrorists or the govt sponsored terrorists
