Nothing. Had to sit through a 45 minute "training session" this morning on how to use the photocopier. He showed us how to print something. It was amazing.

Hey, how do I know you're not some robot that posts this every morning here? (Lucky for you I'm not going to card you for double posting. :p)

I wish I had thought of it. He was pretty pissed off with my colleague and I by the end of it, simply because we were asking a sensible question and he didn't want to try to answer it. He did show us how to block user access, though, so when I get back after lunch the first thing I am doing is blocking this dude I have a feud with.

You'd think it would be easy to have one template and then make copies of them. I'm disappointed with your employers.
It was outside company, but my employer wouldn't have either. My friend in another department had to prepare a business case over something that cost $5 the other day.

What kind of feud? Like angry notes?

It's a long story. He does not technically work here anymore, but he thinks we owe him some sort of preferential treatment. It started when he sent me about six or seven emails, asking me to print them, one of which had an 80 page attachment. I said no, and he got his knickers twisted in a "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!?" sort of way, and that was the end of it. He tries to sneak personal mail into the departmental mail, he stole our photocopier code so he could do his personal business with departmental funds, and if it were anyone else I wouldn't give a shit, but he's an arsehole.

At Christmas he made a huge show of giving everyone a Christmas card but me, it's that sort of a feud now.

It would have been far more polite than holding your cigarette lighters or mobile phones in the air and screaming "More!!!!"

Just scan it and post it on the Web for him. That will teach him.
