what are you sayin is true in theory but it's far from the reality, for example here in Morocoo like you know Islam is the religion of the country and since our early ages and trough our schools we learn about Islam, and like you said the plant in our head seeds. but in most cases you 'll see these childs when they grow up drinking, smokin, havin sex wish is contradictory to those seeds planted in their heads wher they were young.
In most cases they don't became true practiciens of the religion until they figured it out by themselves or trough self experiences.

Your English is excellent and I understand where you are coming from but I am talking about the one big question not the little rules. I believe that the religious mindset is harmful purely because if you can be made believe in systems that objectively are far-fetched then you are liable to be taken adavantage of to act in bad, bad ways. With religion it is more so than Science or other such things.
I'm not saying secularists can't be influenced but the prevalence and severity is higher amongst the religious. People should never, ever stop questioning and demanding proof.
That people raised within a faith somehow find it independently to be the one truth as you suggest is one of the most absurd notions I have ever heard. Your faith is a product of geography not design or self awareness. Were you born my brother you would have been born a Christian and the chances that you would find Islam would be very slim.

I agree with the bolded part btw. It's what made Arab thought so prominent in the middle ages, bringing in hellenistic philosophy certainly contributed in that respect. It's just that your own hubris makes you convinced that if someone questions, that will necessarily result in him denouncing religion. If he hasn't denounced religion, then he hasn't questioned his beliefs.
