People think that because I'm a pizza snob from Chicago, I only eat deep dish or stuffed pizza. Which are great. But the first 21 years of my life in Chicago I ate nothing but thin crust pizzas.

People put up with a lot of slop when it comes to pizza quality, I've noticed. This is how junk chains like the California Pizza Kitchen can survive. Slap some cheese on some mediocre crust and some meat... done. It actually offends me that people can make a business out of selling lame pizzas when it's not exactly rocket science to get it right.

I hate it as well, or how people around here get excited about Boston Pizza and the like. But then there is a lot of horrible food everywhere

I had a friend in milan who's father owned a pizzeria (brick oven) that was the shit . Everyday after class we would go there and get free pizzas
