OOH tell me! There is a dude who works at the grocery store we always go to called Danish, he is the grumpiest fucker I have ever met in my life. We have been calling him Dinesh, but not to his face, because saying Danish as you would in English sounds silly.

 I know

Dinesh would be someone i would find every other day collecting donations for a homless shelter or a religious event, both of which would be scams

kate, since u are into translation and stuff can u suggest me a part time job where i can put my chinese skills into use?

Maybe that's why he's so angry.

I have never done translation as an actual job, only bits and bobs in link with other roles, but there are lots of freelancing sites out there. Universities with exchange students often keep rosters of freelance qualified translators for when their students need birth certificates done or visa forms. There is a lot of need for those types of things (marriage certificates, acceptance letters, etc.)

Anything bigger tends to just be advertised like any normal job, but you might need a certificate.
