Not necessarily. My boyfriend quit a year ago and didn't give anything else up. That said, he would smoke full time again tomorrow if he were allowed.

First time I tried quitting, the withdrawal symptoms were pretty painful. I hope I can do it again without so much pain.

I'm at SF's Jewbag Community Center for a taping of the NPR radio show, "Says you!".

What's funny is there's an amateur radio testing session going on in the back of the building. There's something puzzling about being in a Jewish center with posted signs with arrows that say "Ham Test".
