Had chapatis and chicken curry for lunch. Now eating a chocolate sundae. I'm fat and I've accepted that fact :D
 ..you're getting married so no stress.. I on the other hand will have problems tomorrow morning. I gotta do 60 push ups, 50 abs and run a km in 3.40 minutes, 50 meters in 7 secs. I'm gonna pass hardly on those push ups, the rest will be easy

Weirdest week at work. Ever.

Monday - meeting with the management: So, a substantial part of your job will no longer be required. But we'll offer you something you don't like, at all. And I didn't.

Yesterday - meeting with the upper management:
Him: "So, how did that talk the other day go?"
Me: "Well, he basically asked me to do something against my will, or get the hell out of here."
Him: "Wait, what? There must be some miscommunication. You're the most accurate guy here, just tell me what you'd like to do."
Me: "No miscommunication whatsoever, he was pretty clear."

Today - new meeting with the management: We have some new offers for you. Please consider staying. Etc.

Ridiculous crap.

Part HR, part financial mumbo jumbo (no actual accounting though, more analysis, controlling, (various) calculations) and part (various implementation) projects.

Dear lord, that sounds so extremely vague :D

That sucks BF, So what did they offer you? And why is a substantial part of your job no longer required?
Long story short: due to various acquisitions over the years & external help, my HR activities will become obsolete. Although I'd like to see it before I believe it. I fear it won't go smoothly & apparently I'm not alone in thinking this.

As for what they proposed to me now: increase in project work (this I like, and there's a shitload of projects anyway) & becoming some sort of "link" between the finance department & other(s) (somewhat a combination of supervising & helping out when needed, if I understood it correctly. This is completely new, so difficult to predict).
