I like walking too, I pretty much covered Utrecht in my time living there. Now I've been in The Hague a year and while the city is too big to cover entirely on foot I do already know my side of town too well, not really much new to explore.
Do you just walk from your house or is it like hiking, going some place special?

It depends on my mood. When I'm with the Dog I tend to take a general route, however when alone I set off and just keep walking and uncovering new places it's great to tell people where you've walked and what you've seen that you never knew existed, where I live has parts that are very idyllic and most people won't know they exist. It really is relaxing also and helps from a stressful week at work.
Most people laugh and say I'm cruel for walking a sausage dog that far, but if you take food and plenty of water and prepare a list of rest stops along the way they do fine. I think it's a myth small dogs can't walk far.

Yes I do. Then I don't have anyone slowing me down or moaning that they're tired. You tend to meet other walkers along the way also. It's quite a social hobby.
