Perhaps the camp trip was a bad idea. During my 3-mile run I felt like toxic sludge was running through my body.
Man, I barely made it back from Yosemite. The conditions got so bad after I left, they closed all the roads to it, Yosemite national park lost all power, they evacuated the park of all the people there, and had a guided convoy with snow chains to get the last survivors outta there...

I love a girl that has hair on her downtown bonanza, I've to shave/trim myself or I feel like a dirty ol' Dusan.
That beats when you tuck your nutsack between your legs and pose in the mirror pretending you need a little womanscaping down there. :shifty:

That is bad ass. My type of camp trip, but then again I'd have a little more foresight about the weather than others. How was the trip otherwise?

Mucho cool. Yosemite Natl Park, and especially its central valley, is loaded with tourists in the spring and summer when you might run into the likes of Kyle. :p In the winter, it was covered with snow, much of the park was inaccessible, but we largely got a lot of the place to ourselves. Did some snow hikes to lakes, etc.

Then things would warm up during the day and the snow would start to melt, and these 20-meter tall redwood trees would be pelting me with falling wet snow glop with every other step. Still, it was pretty fun.

shut it cabin steers
Worst movie I have ever seen in a theater: Cabin Boy. God, what a mistake...

Thanks, brother.

My wisecracking brother in Warrenville writes to me, referring to his recent trip to Yellowstone, "What's with the chain requirements in snow? These people don't realize we're from Chicago." I find it funny that the guy tries to compare getting stuck in the snow at 6,000-ft-plus desolate mountains to having your car stuck behind a CTA bus on LSD. The Donner Party wouldn't have gone all cannibalism if they were stuck at the Logan Square el stop. Bah...
