u r in for a treat sheik!!! just this semester i toke two complete chapters on how cocaine works both medically and when abused ( its huge bec there are a lot of cycles and mechanisms depending on which extract of cocaine is used). u should know how ever that cocaine is the weakest steroidal analgesic in pharmaceuticals there are some strong ones out there designed using morphine as the main skeleton they just change rings, and functional groups to achieve that. really interesting mechanism inside the brain and how it can pass the blood brain barrier to affect dopamine levels in the brain.

xtc is going to be in the menu in the 2nd semester bec its a totally different mechanism that i currently dont know much about, i just know amphetamines play a major role in the way they work and effect the human being.

yup bro i have to study them in a lot of detail, i can draw the structure from memory for cocaine and all its derivatives ( pretty hectic when it comes to studying these two chapters in particular bec they have different pathways and stuff)i'm glad u r keen on understanding how they work thats a really good thing bec a lot of people dont understand how powerful this class of anesthetics/ analgesics is.

yeah i should really do that!!! may be after i'm done with my finals i can have my own blog now that there is this option and i can share everything i learn with u guys, u never know it might come in handy for u later on in life thats actually a good idea martin i'm sure u will be my top follower which begs the question why did'nt u join pharmacy or medicine instead of programming?? note: par this course which is called pharmaceutical chemistry the rest of the courses i have to study are boring as hell!!!!!

yup that class is interesting but i know the outlines to it, it was'nt focused on this semester may be in the coming one not sure but i will keep u up-dated martin have no worries as i told u its just this course that really gets me interested other than that i wish my faculty would just explode bec it can be really really boring. its tough but it has a lot to do with the pace by which u learn the important stuff and also the amount of non essential stuff they make u study like botanicals for instance.
