Sure, some might waive the Mexican flag because they think it represents their heritage. But again, that's like me waiving the Adams County flag or the Stars and Stripes celebrating the fact that I'm white. They had their race and heritage before Mexico was even a country.

I personally wasn't(I said before i was, so that i'd see what people would think if i was), but i moved there when i was a few months old, so in terms of how i feel about the country, it wouldn't really matter, because i don't remember Libya at all, i was born there and spent 3-4 months there before moving to Scotland.
Most of my brothers and sisters were born in Scotland though, and they feel the same way i do.
and like i said before, i know loads of people with American citizenship, British citizenship and the likes. They only have it for their personal benefit, nothing else. None of these people care for the US, or the UK or anything, and probably wouldn't care less if it got blown off the map, as long as their passport stayed intact and they benefit from it, they want nothing else to do with said countries

I never said anything about a racist state of America. (race in America is whole other issue)
I said he was probably protesting an oppressive Arizona law. A law that allows searches on people without warrants is indeed oppressive and not to mention stupid. The Patriot Act is also oppressive. Many things are oppressive, but oppression does not need race to exist.
Well no one refers to you as German-American. To be honest if you (people in general) see a fellow looking like our flag waving friend here the first word to come to mind is probable hispanic, mexican, latino etc. Certainly not plain old American, it might one of the before-mentioned prefixes and then American. So it's almost as if we (the established citizens) force them to bond to their culture. It happened with the Irish, blacks, Poles, Italians, etc in the past, so this really shouldn't be so surprising.

Especially, if he's a citizen and has the right to gripe. However, confused or silly that gripe may be.

Canada is the country that gives out passports easily. I know a lot of people that immigrate to Canada just to get passports. I don't think they should be giving out passports as easily as they do.
