The main point you said about them being able to stop anyone of hispanic origin.
Under the bill that will pass they can't stop anyone under suspicion of being an illegal alien without probable cause to believe they are committing some other type of crime.
Police are now only allowed to ask for papers if they have already stopped the suspect for other reasons not related to immigration status. They can't just stop anyone they choose to and ask for papers thats total nonsense. The police are also no longer required to investigate suspected illegals. That law is perfectly fair and should be in practice across the entire country.
Its crap too when those fighting this bill say it "defies the federal government". Cities that harbor illegals such as SF or LA are defying the federal law as well and they get away with it.

You don't see the problem in this though? All a cop has to do is to find some little issue (excuse i.e.) to stop you and then check your immigration status. For example, jaywalking is something most cops don't give a shit about but all of a sudden 3 Hispanic looking people crossing a red light is an issue and one thing leads to another you're asking for their papers.

Which is bullshit propaganda as around here, regular Americans do work those sort of jobs. If you pay enough, people will work the jobs. But since illegals can't get real jobs they take others with low pay under the table. And that's the whole problem.

I'd say that if illegal workers weren't a problem, wages would be higher, including a minimum wage. Why? Simple supply and demand, wage and labour analysis. It's not brain surgery here. It's economics 101.

Of course this is a problem but I feel what you have brought up about police abusing their power is a problem with American policing in general and not just this immigration bill.
Police know the law and they know exactly what the can and cannot do. Cops abusing their power and their greater knowledge of the law compared to the average citizen is a separate issue that affects many people regardless of their immigration status.

really ok so lets pay americans 20 bucks an hour to make something eruope makes at 15 an hour with the help of subsidies, the real propaganda is the one you re falling for. nothing does more damage to the economy that financial markets and what good a time to divert attention to the lowly immigrants. we re at 10% unemployment becuase of goldmann sachs not jorge and paco.

Yea I remember about a month ago a Target out here in a predominantly white area notified their employees that they would need proof of legal residence to continue working there and the very next day half of the employees didn't show up for work and haven't been seen or heard from since. I was surprised, I go to that target all the time I would never have guessed that they had so many illegals working there.
