Depends on your needs. If you like a flashy phone that depends on iTunes a lot and doesn't give as much freedom when compared to a Nokia, then go right ahead.

You can, but it needs to be put through the iTunes software. If iTunes is not there, then it won't be possible. Also, the phone will ONLY sync with ONE computer with iTunes. If you try to sync it with your friends' iTunes, it'll wipe the contents of your phone.
