Oh I agree very much, jagger has a lot to thank him for, he is ultimate funk and soul, I can't argue that in the slightest, he covered that area of music for sure.

But you've got to respect what James brown did.
And R&B actually stands for rhythm and blues which is where pretty much all music evolved from so no r&b no pink floyd, I'm sure you know that their name is totally founded from R&B artists?

You know what I mean . Modern R&B are not like the old.
I think Pink is from Pink Anderson, but was he not a Blues singer? I wrote a paper about Pink Floyd in when I was in Business School, but can't remember that much.

I am a young guy but my step father listened too "The Wall" when I was a Child, and I just fell in love with the band.
Now I have several of the albums and Waters was always my favourite, but when I first heard the old stuff with Syd, the music blew me away..
