Life would be better without R&B
You have a quality avatar mate, and what a single see emily play is, barrett is a genius.
But you've got to respect what James brown did.
And R&B actually stands for rhythm and blues which is where pretty much all music evolved from so no r&b no pink floyd, I'm sure you know that their name is totally founded from R&B artists?

as for music, thats the godfather of soul no hip hop funk or R&B without him

Did you ever get to see James Brown?

I saw him support the RHCP in the hyde park gigs, it was such a disapointment, sometimes its better for musicians to hang up the hat!

I love the guy regardless - Payback and Godfather are brilliant songs

You know what I mean :D. Modern R&B are not like the old.
I think Pink is from Pink Anderson, but was he not a Blues singer? I wrote a paper about Pink Floyd in when I was in Business School, but can't remember that much.

I am a young guy but my step father listened too "The Wall" when I was a Child, and I just fell in love with the band.
Now I have several of the albums and Waters was always my favourite, but when I first heard the old stuff with Syd, the music blew me away..
