Saying radical Islam ruined Afganistan is fine to say when you consider its affluent and cultured history prior to the Soviet invasion and rise to power of the Taliban.

Perhaps I shouldn't have said Islam. I didn't mean to generalize the religion. I was replying to IZ and we're on the same boat in that respect so I figured he would understand. If I offended you then I apologize.
