What time is it there?
Its 10:50 am now...

Its supposed to be the rainy season (monsoon) but there's hardly any rain here. Because of the shortage of water there's shortage in electricity generated. We already have two hours power cut each day (one in the morning, another later in the evening). If it doesn't rain soon, the number of hours of power cuts will increase.

Dude, that must suck hardcore.

What do you do when you have no power?
In the morning it doesn't matter because I'd be getting ready to go to work... In the evening I generally watch a movie/TV show on my laptop or go out and play billiards or fussball at a nearby game parlour where they have backup generators...

OMG that is so fuckin retarded, and sad at the same time.
Why not use the wind or solar energy, right? Noooo, they have to use fresh water of course.

Ohh, okay, what about if the power goes out during a shower in the morning? Billiards is a damn fine game if I do say so my damn self.
As long as there's hot water in the water heater its all good :) My bathroom gets a fair bit of sunlight...
Billiards is a fine game, I like fussball better though (mainly because I suck monkey balls at billiards :D)
