All bad cops should be rooted out and humiliated. But seriously -- busting a cop's chops based on a rip-and-read news article because he pulls a gun in a dangerous situation is pretty damn convenient because your life or death isn't at stake.

:agree: but texas is kinda different in this case, as half of the population is made of illegals who are how shall we say overzealous in their pandering to cops, so most of em feel above the law i had a little incident when i was down there myself

Three officers got shot and killed last week here in Oakland because of a routine traffic stop.

I know what you're saying, but you're in a pretty damn comfortable and safe position behind a computer screen to jump to conclusions. If I was a cop, I'd probably shoot a lot more people, let alone pull a gun on them. (Especially if the guy is getting out of his car, which every retard knows you don't do around a cop without him asking you to for safety reasons.)
sorry greg but i'll have to disagree but i'm not gonna go on a rant about how much i despise cops and why

Well here's the thing. I've seen enough real cases where a cop (or multiple) was caught abusing his power, so I know it's not all made up. Secondly, even if we don't have all the facts in this particular case, there are so many reports of this that it's obviously happening, even if some of them aren't true. So what exactly do you win? Whether or not I claim this particular cop abused his power has no impact on his case. Either way, my suspicions about police conduct have been raised and this isn't helping defuse it.

(Especially if the guy is getting out of his car, which every retard knows you don't do around a cop without him asking you to for safety reasons.)
And what exactly is to prevent a guy from shooting a cop just as he walks up to the car? If anything you have the element of surprise. I suppose technically you do have better chances of surviving a nuclear blast under a desk, but I don't think it makes a huge difference.

stay away from LG mobiles

what exactly are you looking for in a phone?
More than a regular phone but less than a full on palm pilot, touch screen, decent camera, no flip out/in/up/down keyboards! I hate phones with those annoying keyboards!

edit: I need an unlocked one and one that can work overseas 'cause I won't be using it here.

greg, you do know that the mother-in-law died right?
Like the cop is supposed to know that? Like he's responsible for that? Worse, as if that matters when he isn't sure if he's going to die that night?

Decent cops don't stand a chance by your standards. Some methhead could be pursued, stopped, gets out of his car in a heated situation, and the only thing a good cop is supposed to do under the circumstances is dodge any possible bullets. Yeah, right.

Well, to lighten things up... I think Burke needs to see one of my favorite scenes from the episode of "Mr. Tourette, Master Signwriter" I saw last night...
