Why did you decide to become a vegetarian?
i've always been veg, my entire family is actually. we're hindu so its not written in stone that we have to be veg nor does my family care if i am or not.

the way i was raised was to see food as food. no matter what it was. and my parents knew that it would be tough to raise their kids in this country/society as veggies but they never forbid us to eat meat. they never encouraged it either in terms of offering or suggesting but the option was ours to make.

Just seemed natural then? Not a big life decision. Just as well eh :)
