You know Excel is the most popular programming language in the world? There are tons of people who program in Excel because it's easy and it helps them accomplish something.

I didn't know that but it's simplicity and dare I say naivety? can qualify it as the most popular language in the world.

I'll show how tedious it is. To calculate the match points I had to do the following:

The result is there and each score is in a cell, then for each score I have 3 cells which compare which score is higher and assign 3,1,0 and of course the other score gets respectively 0,1,3. But I still haven't got my final point because I can't tell it which cell to choose (the one that has a value). This is done in a separate cell that compares all these 3 in combinations and writes the correct value and of course there are 2 of them for each team.
