That is true, with more pain at the pump people wont be spending on most tech, but for some reason Bear thinks the stock is under evaluated. Personally I wouldn't short Apple because I love their products.

Yay PDVSA just went on strike.

Yea, but that's no reason to short them or go long. I'm sure you like gas and food too, does that mean that you wouldn't short a gas/oil company or a food company?

It's not just because I like their products though. Going into the back to school season and current evaluations show that it might not be a good idea to short them now.

Gas is a commodity not a company. Now hell yeah I'd short the hell of out ExxonMobil if the time presents itself.

So exxonmobil is not a gas or oil company?

And again, it does not bother me what gas becomes because I, like you, don't pay for my own gas.

But you will one day and Goddamnit, don't tell me you're dad wouldn't tell you to cut back on driving and other sorts of things when you it takes $175 to fill up your truck's tank. If we ever see that this fall I will not leave State College until Thanksgiving at the earliest.

Gotta be careful what you wish for. And yes, it will affect you, Mikey.

Sucks for me. I have to do major work on my car this summer and now I have to deal with rising gas prices, but I don't really mind high gas prices as it gives me a reason to drive less.

On another note: Raise your hand if you're ready for your big summer staycation! Fuck those MSNBC, CNN, FIX, ABC, CBS, NBC, news for profit faggots. The decline of the middle class is really nothing to make fun of. Especially when those are the guys who might be chopping your head off and gutting your wife in 30 years. Ask the French, they know what I'm talking about.
