It's an open world, sandbox game. So you can roam anywhere, anytime you want. To travel between cities, you'll need to visit one of the stables in the city. Just open the map using Select and check the Legend to find it.

Can't think of any Easter Eggs. But I can give you a few tips. Learn to master the Counter Attack move. It'll be very helpful when fighting against a lot of enemies. If you time it correctly, you can kill em off like flies. Use the hidden blade(Down arrow on the D_Pad) coupled with counter attack for best results.
