Why would you be heading up to Yosemite now? I'd think that the two best times to go are during the summer (when it's warm and nice) or after it just snowed a ton and the scenery is epic.

For one, it's my long birthday weekend getaway. For another, the Yosemite Valley is cursed in warm weather with screaming brats and other unsightly tourists.
