    Okay, suppose your income is proportional to your working hours. Work 40 hours, get 40. Work 60 hours, get 60. Would you rather work 20 more hours a week to have 50% more money? I wouldn't. It's true you need money to live, but I don't have a terribly expensive lifestyle, and I would rather keep the free time I have now than work more and have more money. Time is more valuable.
    I would, because the more money you make, the earlier you can retire and fuck off.
    No doubt.

    But once you retire you're not working, not making money. Which you can be doing already right now by working less. It's the same tradeoff, no?

    What's a law fair? Other than a synonym for a date, apparently.
    :Badjoke:You get to go on rides such as the hammer of injustice :badjoke:
    It's just a like a meeting where all firms are there and you have a chance to talk to them and see if you can charm them, or in my case feel intimidated and try and collect as many pens/keyrings as possible. :D

    @Burke
    Btw, ironically with respect to your stance on early retirement, it seems that people who keep working after retirement age tend to stay in better health, live longer lives. Depends on the profession of course, but a desk job you can still do when you're 70.

    Oh okay, a job fair. So you liking the law so far?
    Yup, it's pretty cool, I'm into my second year now, I did well in my first but I'm only starting to get the jist of the modules I'm taking rid year, it's just a case of finding the right structure.
    I'm enjoying it far more now, but theres always the impending fear of trying (and probably failing) to get a training contract after.

    Suppose you like your job? Like the people in the office? Like people needing your input?

    Our likes change over time, when you're 70 you'll have other priorities than right now, shocking as that might seem.

    You could always open a studio with Andy here. Of course you couldn't compete with his beard, but then someone has to be the big brother.

    I dunno I shave every day, also a Ginger beard is far more marvellous. :D
    Imagine the sarcasm in our soliciting words, when it comes down to it I can be quite blunt, so I suppose we'd just such the life out of our online competitors.
