That was me yesterday trying to get across downtown for a doctor's appointment while the SF Giants victory parade was cutting through town.

I guess at least in my case, at least I got to see a parade -- rather than broken-down trucks that ask you to honk at them on the back.

I've been riding to Marathalli the past 2-3 weeks to hang out at a friends place. I hate riding 20 kms, but it's worth it.

Have you guys seen how the roads look in africa? At least you guys have tar to drive on, here you'll find potholes that look like the mini grand canyon.
