It doesn't matter, his work is brilliant.
True.

Frankly, for the sake of argument, I can accept that God is the creator of everything that was not created by man. But I absolutely do not believe that worshipping God, having faith in him and believing in him will actually make a change in my life. I will not pray to God when I'm in need of something or my life is hell. I'd rather believe in myself and try to changes things myself than hope for a miracle.

Don't we have a separate sub forum for religion? Why do you have to ruin this thread? Now that Sheik has actively participated in the debate, he's got a lot of posts more than me. How the fuck am I supposed to match his count now?
I never though I'd participate in such a debate. But the way he said that he "knows" God exists pulled me into it. And I'm actually glad I had it. I've seen and provided more reasons to not believe in the concept of God.

Ok, here's a question, kinda on topic with that evolution debate.

Why are we taller?
In almost every single part of the earth, if you open up graves 300 years old you will see that the male were tall ~1.60-1.70 meters. If in the same place you open up a grave 10 years old you will see that the average height is at least 10 cm higher.

Is it a consequence of he we live and how we eat and can that be considered evolution and a natural change?

Quite possibly. We produce more food now than ever before. In nations in which food is plentiful you see taller people.

Elementary. We own more stuff than ever before. Where are you gonna keep your stuff? Shelves is a good option, large capacity. But what if you can't reach? Well, if you were taller you would have more shelf space. :xfinger:

Dunno, but I hear it has something to do with your diet and healthy lifestyle.

There was a study done on the effects of the famines in North Korea and supposedly there was a hugely significant difference in not only weight but also height to their South Korean counterparts of their same age (most noticeably in males).

So height can't be all genetic and can be stunted by malnutrition.
