For the biggest document leak in the history of your military the response seems to be more or less radio silence.
Some don't really seem to trust Wikileaks. Lots of rumors going around that it's nothing but a CIA front for disinformation, so I don't know what to believe.

But I'd say that it's safe to say that the war in Afghanistan is failing and our troops have done some deplorable things over there for their "superiors." So how much "news" this really is, I don't know.

Fudging the numbers of dead civilians?

Execution without trial of the enemy?

Knowing that another power is involved but not acknowledging it or fighting them because it'd be too expensive?

That's how you fight a war ffs :disagree:

Just having a completely useless day today. Haven't done a thing besides watching lots of Youtube.
Youtube is downright dangerous; it's so easy to lose hours without noticing.

I wonder how long it will be before someone claims an addiction to youtube should be a recognised medical condition?

You're totally right. What starts out as "okay, 10 minute video" becomes "I'll have to just take the whole day off today".

Sadly, that's not even what happened today. I just felt no drive for anything in the morning and Youtube was a crutch to make time flow, not an addiction.

I just have days like that sometimes, do you?
