I'm not big on Halloween, New Years or Valentines Days, the last one because I've never had a relationship that lasted long enough to celebrate it :depressed

i like Halloween because of free candy, parties and girls having a reason to dress up abnormally slutty

but i agree with NYE and Valentine's being incredibly overrated. and if you want we can celebrate our relationship on V-day :eyebrows:

They go hand in hand. I suppose it's stupid, but there is this wacky expectation that you're supposed to do something special for that night, which I never had anything for. And there have been times when I've found myself in the cross fire of other people's stupid plans that sucked to me.

funny you mention that because i feel the same way. when i was in HS or college i was hype about partying balls out for NYE and what not. but last 2 years i've been rather cold to the idea of NYE. proclaiming it "overrated" and "just another night out". but then i always ended up doing something like paying $100 for a VIP party or went out of town to party and celebrate. but this year is the closest i've been to not having any set plans. i have options but i don't feel like doing anything really.

i haven't been bored on NYE just not very interested in doing something special or over-the-top.
