Hey I applaud what you're doing but I feel like I know you less and less from the guy who used to be more like me and not exercise much :D
Well, something happened in my life (surprisingly I have one) and now I am totally focused on exercise. To be honest, I have never felt as good since I started and it's not only running I am doing. I do sneak some other things in between :D Yesterday I was thinking and it came to me that it has somehow got out of control and I love it. I can officially say I am addicted.

Why run at a marathon? I don't get that. Even if you like running you can do everything without it.
What's wrong with running a marathon?

It's thrilling in every aspect of the event, the train, the audience, the ambiance, the history. It's just fascinating. I am working my ass off for the half marathon and if things go well, why not take a step further.

The half marathon I am running in may is the biggest running race in Sweden, we are 54000 runners. Everything surrounding the event is just charming.

In one month I have improved a whole lot, hopefully the Swedish winter won't stop me from training. If things stay on the same track, I think I will do it. By March I will be able to know exactly what my time will be and then I will realize a target but now my only aim is to run the race.

You get used to it fast and once you do you get to like it and get addicted to it at some point. You feel great.
I've never liked exercise for its own sake. I've played a lot of sports but always with some other motive in mind, like chasing a ball around.

Still, I would much rather be doing what Jack is doing (great shape, stamina etc) than what you gym people are doing (it looks nice). I'm so much more impressed by that (sorry, gym freaks :p) :D

Building mass in the gym is just as hard,

Toning is soemtimes the realm of Vain docuhes, but not always.

I cycle aswell.

The feeling after a workout is after only a Juve win and sexy time, in that order of course

when do you plan on running a full marathon?
I still haven't planned it yet. On May 22nd it's the date for the 21km. If I still have the energy and things go well on that day, I'll start planning a marathon.

I have a friend who has run Boston Marathon 4 years in a row, isn't that something that makes one want to run marathons?

Well you can go to the gym and run, sprint more. You'd have crazy stamina and you'd be like a rock. :p
