hey guys, I need some advice:
I get back to school today I get my grades as follows,
I got an A in re
I got a B in English, 13marks off an A
I got a C in French, which was about in the middle.
And I got a D in history, 9 marks off a C.
So here is my dilemma, I need 3 B's to get into uni next year to study law. Some people carry on with four subjects and some drop some.
In my case the senario is this,
1. I drop histrory to focus on getting 3 B's. But I am loosing my favorite subject and am making a risk with my French, by counting on it getting a B; and it isn't my best subject
2. Take history aswell as the other 3, I then have to re-take 2 of my exams and do an extra 3 exams for history, this might take off some of the risk of not doing well in French IF I do well in history. it will also be useful for doing law at Uni. Although it will also take up more time but I am not bothered about that.
What should I do guys?

Currently I'm manipulating the market for PSU student football tickets. We already have our season tickets, but there is a place named www.lionconnection.com where we sell/trade tickets. So what I have been doing for two years is place adds for the tickets with a starting bid and say I'm going to sell it to the highest bidder. If someone makes an offer of, say, $60, I respond to their email by saying the current bid is $70 (even though it's not), and so on.

So another guy emails me and bids $75 for it, and then I respond to him that the current bid is $80 and then make sure in my other adds to note that the price is indeed thaaaaat high. So then I'm able to sell the ticket for probably $25 more than most people. I'm a slimy bastard. :lol2:

we don't really have one, but I would appreciate some advice off you guys especially some of the uni go-ers, it would be really helpful as I have been stressed all day about it.

Yeah that's something for your adviser.

I didn't go to school in England so I doubt I'll be very useful here. All I can say is when I found out in high school (I went to the IB) I was taking one more subject than I strictly needed to I dropped it.

I suppose I'd say use the more free time in #1 and work hard in the French because with exams, you never know. That's a tough decision from my view here.

no that's no problem your advice is very useful. But say I drop history I am really counting on getting a B I'm French, which I am not the greatest at, you see where I am going?

I Agree with your point, but French gets pretty hard, I thought I did well to get a C really. TBH I am kind of leaning towards option 2 ATM because I already have the knowledge part, I just need to crack answering the exam questions and then I'll be fine. I'm considering asking for my papers back giving them to my teacher to work out what I have been doing wrong and then work from there.

but then I continue fucking up in history. Whilst even though I'm not the best at French I did do good in my exam, so there must be something that I have been doing right
Well then don't worry about dropping your favourite subject if the grades aren't helping you. If you say you're not too bad at French then concentrate on improving on it by dropping history.
