Oh yes of course. Even Stalin, Saddam, Pol Pot and Mao must have done some good in their lives. That's beyond the point though, sometimes a single evil act can outweigh all the good things you did in life.
Right, and if you take MJ he not only made one of the biggest contributions to music in the 20th century (which I assume you're ignoring), he also gave millions (money he could clearly afford) to various charities around the world. He also recorded a number of tracks the proceeds of which went to charity.

Which means there's a very good chance that he helped lots of people (and children especially), despite scarring a couple of kids with this unusual sexual taste.

In the end I think it's pretty obvious that his positive impact far outweighs his negative one (imo).

Never said otherwise btw. Who's to say he did molest those kids anyway?

But again assuming that he did, let's put you in the place of the father of the little kid that got molested by MJ Would it matter to you how many millions he put in charity or how much contribution he made to the music industry?

Your kid is probably not going to live a normal life now because of this man. I think you'll be singing a different song.

And just for the record, i'm not saying MJ did molest those kids, and i'm not saying he's a bad person.

Sure.

Btw I'm tired of these aggressive discussions. Maybe I need my blood pressure checked :shifty:

I don't know if MJ did or did not do what he was accused of. But if he did, then i don't care if he was a great singer, a pedophile is a pedophile, if he wasn't so famous people would be saying what a terrible person he was.

He was acquitted, so it is unfair to hold those allegations against him.

For the record, I am entirely indifferent to Michael Jackson and his death.
Ahh, so you must have forgotten about the $20M check he cut to a family to avoid civil charges which could have led to another criminal case.
I can't stand those PTI pricks.
    I love them.

MJ is also the same guy that took a $1.5 million dollar (he could have gotten much more) civil award from Pepsi and donated it to a burn victim charity.

Jeez, this is a pretty boring night. The NHL draft is only interesting during the first ten picks, now it's just waiting for my team.

Hell, even tomorrow will be pretty boring.

All roads lead to South Afrika on Sunday.

I don't really care who we get in the 1st, so long as he's talented. Hopefully we get another Talbot (8th round) or Letang (3rd) or Suderi (5th).
