most of my prof had numerous years of industry experience and that kind of value is priceless when teaching any upper level course IMO
Some of mine are like that, and they are the most interesting ones and the ones I respect the most.

I don't like the few that went pretty much straight from being a student to teaching.

Me either that's really not a good sign unless they are teaching to get a PHD or something.

Probably, but the law is a funny thing. Not everyone who gets a law degree has the interest or want to pursue a career in law. So they end up teaching or doing some other job.
Sure.

I don't have my heart set on being a lawyer. I'll just see what job offers I get once I finish with Uni.

I know in the states that when you become a lawyer you generally get an ass load of debt. How does that translate where you study? Probably much less I'd assume?
