Hey, buddy, Frank is the honorable saint that gave my home town its name.

Maybe he's not as notorious as Saint John Wayne, the patron saint of children's clowns who bury young boys in their crawlspaces. But I'll take it.
I've got nothing against Frank. I'm an animal lover myself.

What is there to do at this point? The election is behind us, the people who fell for it got screwed. Although I don't imagine how the alternative could have been any better.

It's rigged. Two party system masquerading as effectively a one party system.
At least Obama "looks" better than McCain.

But yeah, the only solution is another party to rise up.

There are already people in places such as Cali and Florida having tax revolts, generally becoming disenfranchised with the whole system, and I see this spreading as things get worse. And they will.

They're generally right about the economy from what I've seen. Ron Paul is spot on.

They should have let GM go bankrupt months ago. All the government is doing is delaying the inevitable.

I'm going to become a Libertarian. Stop paying taxes and reap all the benefits. The ultimate "me-first" party.
Indeed. All hail Ron Paul, libertarian who says all the things we want to hear. With the small twist that he's a Christian nut and wants the government to enforce Christian values.

The ultimate flaw in libertarianism. Libertarian economics, but everyone has that pet cause on social issues.

I don't like how many of them are Jesus freaks.

Perhaps I should start another party that incorporates free market standards and promotes hate against religions.
In most countries you'd get painted as extremist but man you could milk the media attention over there with this concept. Anything hateful and the media eats it up.

The problem with Libertarianism is that it is strictly based on the individual's ability to live without government regulation or oversight. Basically, they want a completely de-regulated economy, as far as the environment goes they believe the individual is responsible for limiting his own pollution (rich:andyandbarcelona: ), same goes with energy use (people will conserve energy at their own truition:andyandbarcelona: ), the government shouldn't provide health care because the individual reserves the right to pick the HMO or insurance provider that won't pay for serious treatment and so on and so forth.
