the way i see it, there are two option

-religions should be part of public life and therefore they need to be scrutinized and like everything else hold their own on a debate, requiring a lot of openmindness on the part of the believer or,

-we all shut up, agree religions are not suited to everyone and all religious people stop making them public and keep them to themselves

alright boys, i am back to work, you enjoy the rest of the morning/afternoon/evening
I agree with that option.

so i can go back to making fun of them and you wont request that my head be seperated form my neck?
Why would I request that? And why you make fun of them? What I accepted on is: Everyone has his own beliefs and as long as he expresses it without harming anyone no one should make fun of him. My bad, if I didn't read the post of the two options well.

better example ... when someone can go in saudi arabia and have pork and drink beer then we will agree that religious people are keeping religion to themselves

Ok I'm in Canada, been here 4 years now, my student visa expires in a month, I wanna become a permanent resident. Wanna ask the lawyer to show me how I can do that, but my cheapness is kicking in the worst time possible. Simple :)

This is completely idiotic. Children are not property, they are not slaves. They should have their freedom.

This is called "taxes". In a country like Sweden if you have a high salary you will pay 45% in income tax, with lots of other taxes on products you buy.

Sounds very noble. Protect the rich from the poor so that the rich can continue being rich.

well u are'nt banned when u have a sig saying god is in yr pants aaron, and its not like any of us has anything against atheist in our sigs.
I'd be all for my banning if that was the case.

While you might not be directly insulting any particular atheist, the god propaganda found in our sigs might be insulting in general. The same way Seven's funny picture wasn't insulting to any particular practicer of Islam, but insulting in general.

This maybe not allowed in public in Saudi Arabia. The reason they do not allow this in public because Prophet Mohammed started Islam there, so they do not want such forbidden things in Islam to be available there.
