i am just glad no one got banned, showed a lot of maturity on the part of the mod team
Maybe no one got banned simply because the sole fault of all this is on the senior mod who runs this forum? :eyebrows: Just saying, it may be a big hint on why no one was, heh.

About maturity, well it showed the EXACT opposite, not for the whole mod team, but the mod who is most senior and leads them, doing this all because he is EXTREMELY immature, very much so.

Seriously though, wouldn't a system of checks and balances improve the moderating?

Split the powers. For example; Those that make the rules, those that track those that offend the rules, and those that punish/uphold the rules.

The example isn't great, I know, but I think you get the gist. It would certainly avoid something like this happening again, although it was extremely fun :D.

i dont agree, Jack is usually very composed and mature maybe something is going on in his life who knows.

Good old seperation of powers doctrine.
