People just get new jobs? Like they can submit applications and not only does another human read it, but then they actually get an interview? And then they actually get hired?? This sounds like a myth to me. Chat is this real?

I have applied to European companies several times and been accepted for interviews. The only problem is that I am not a citizen of EU countries, I was either rejected or the process was left incomplete.

Most volunteers do it, if it's done smartly you won't get caught.

Dude I find it so sad for you that we have people entering the Union illegally, throwing away their passports before arrival and stuff, and yet you’re there trying your best to contribute.

Aren’t other counties like Turkey a option?

Why didn’t you try to apply for a work visa? You don’t have to be a citizen. If you are struggling to obtain a work visa on your own, consider getting help from an immigration lawyer in the country you want to move to.

Turkey is not a right choice based on my job field, I think people move to Turkey because they want to move to Europe from turkey. So I see Turkey as a bridge to Europe not for being live there. EU Countries rules are very strict. You must have a valid job offer and other documents to present to the embassy. I don't like to be seen as a cheap labor, 9 years experience in my field and I'm competent enough to get qualified, but the conditions for getting work from foreign companies are difficult and options are strongly limited since not that many companies want to sponsor foreigner job seekers. Many fellows have moved by applying for university, PhD and Master's degrees. They intend on convert it to a work visa, and stay permanently after finishing university. I have seen few people who have been able to immigrate through work.

Not only lawyers, but also some local agencies will find companies and jobs for you in your desired destination. But they demand a huge commission. The fee is out of my budget, And you will pay only for the service, it won't be included place(living space such as house, apartment) and transportation to the destination country.

How about if i take Vitamin D3 Eurho Vital 1000 IU to compensate for that?
I am currently taking 4000 IU daily. Over the counter pills have a daily dose of around 2000 IU.
It takes a while to fill up vitamin D reserves so I would go for 4000 IU for about 3 months & if you have sunny summers then switch to getting it naturally.

Sadly tech jobs are taking a hit especially since cheap money disappeared.

have you actually lied about anything significant on your resume then gotten a job and had that be a good decision?

Genuinely curious.
I did embellish some things and renamed a previous position (took some creative liberties with the translation from Spanish to English) but that was stuff I actually knew how to do or knew I could do within weeks of starting.

In that case, I’d suggest looking for a job in the UAE or Qatar first. It’s a great way to build yourself up before making the big move, especially for someone as experienced as you. A lot of people take this route to move legally.

I have a mad respect for the great advice you always deliver. We are both going to the convenient place in the future. somewhere in Europe.

Nah Europe is cool and all, great for vacations, but not really my vibe for living.

You’re a good man my bro, and you deserve all the support.
It would not surprise me if setting your life up is easier in the UAE, I don’t have any in sight information about the UAE but when it comes to housing and general costs of living, Europe can be quite difficult especially in the big cities. It’s in that regard worse than 10 years ago.

No income tax in countries like the UAE and investment friendly policies create a favorable environment. Housing costs in places like Dubai and Abu Dhabi aren’t much different from major European cities, but thanks to business incentives, many companies provide housing for employees or offer generous housing allowances. Unfortunately, from what I hear from family and friends there, living in Europe gets harder year after year, requiring a lot of effort to maintain a balanced life, especially if you have kids. It can even take a toll on mental well being at times. I hope it goes back to how it used to be.

Networking can make a huge difference. Who you know really is as important as what you know when it comes to applying for jobs.

At first I was expecting that to change this year, but not so sure anymore.

I do it weekly rather than daily, and it mostly comes down to how many relevant positions there are that I come across. Some weeks more than others.
I would probably suggest to apply to 10-30 positions a day and constantly polish your resume and interview skills. Id also suggest to expand your search to positions that are peripheral to your ideal fit, for example if your first preference is to land a job as a developer, apply also for sales engineer positions, at the very least it will get you some practice interviews. Best of luck my bro.
