Lol, no just strange that they routinely close I 80 between Wyoming and Park City for chances of bad snow but didn’t think to close things down for a blizzard in Virginia
Very true. It’s like the DC area has more snow denialists. So when snow actually falls, the whole region shuts down for a week without warning.

Is "frog" the new slang for "man / bro / dude" ?
Only in France.

I actually went on a quick vacation to Florida a couple weeks ago and had a very good time. Went to a smaller city with more of a European influence, great restaurants and bars without the typical Florida trash.
You missed out on the Trailer Park Golden Corral.

I-95 basically shutdown due to yesterday's snowstorm... now for over 15 hours!

Hope you're not stuck in this @Hust

I would rather have his legs closed and mask off.
Just saw this - man that was a cluster fuck

I stayed home. That’s why I’m buying land in harpers ferry and building in WV. I hate NOVA and the 95 corridor

I've never lived in an area that snows but how is something like this even possible?

Don't they know about storms ahead of time? Isn't that the point of meteorologists so that you warn people or close the freeway?

Why does it seem like America is so easily defeated by the weather like its fucking Guatemala or something in this bitch

The meteorologists did their job, but people probably didn't pay attention because of the holidays and the fact air temps were in the 50's the day before. The traffic folks in VA apparently couldn't pre-treat the roads with their mixture of chemicals because of the rain before the snow, but who knows if that was actually the case.

The local news had a poll on whether the governor, VDOT, or the drivers were to blame. Like 70% blamed VDOT, 20 the drivers, 10 the governor. So two government entities and the dumbo general public who can't drive even without snow. They're probably all to blame.

In that instance shouldn't be on VDOT to just close the road before the problem gets this big?
